Message In memory of my Father, Donald William McNab and all the gallant men who served on the ship. I wish I had more knowledge and insight of the horrific battle and time endured in prison of war camp. Being from his first marriage after the war I have nothing of my fathers. If any one has pictures or article's i would really appreciate anything to pass onto my own grandsons. Tara

Message Hello to all, Have just discovered your site. I am doing my Family Tree and found that my Grandmother's cousin Richard Nicholas McConnell was a Petty Officer on the Perth when she went down in the Sunda Straits in WW2 and died as a POW 30/03/1945 being buried at Yokohama Cemetery Japan. If anyone would have any info, photos on him or his family, would love to hear from u.
I loved reading the comments. It keeps the spirit alive.
Shirley
